Your Opportunity

The Continuous Improvement Manager identifies and implements process improvement opportunities focused, but not limited to the Transportation and Warehousing Supply Chain.Responsible to identify business and operational processes changes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction.Provides advisement and recommendations to management personnel to influence change and implement process improvement.The ideal candidate will frequently interact with our business and leadership teams regarding key projects and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify, create, and manage process improvement projects.

  • Complete advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping.

  • Analyze and provide recommendations on business processes improvements, implement enhancements to existing work methods, flows and transactional processes to improve current capabilities.

  • Use continuous improvement tools to influence business decisions.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine applicable metrics to troubleshoot business and operational issues.

  • Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for methods and processes.

  • Lead Corporate Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on key performance indicators, cost reduction goals and project results for senior leadership.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science or related field and 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

  • 2+ years' experience acting as a lead by providing training, guidance or mentoring to less experienced staff or managing processes and projects.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Continuous Improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Demonstrated planning, organization, and execution skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level knowledge of Excel.

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP preferred.

  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.

  • Ability to adjust communication style based upon varying levels of audiences you will encounter.

  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, innovation, and ability to operate autonomously.

  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

  • Up to 30% travel required.

Salary Range

$85,500.00 - $128,625.00
